Dear Parent / Carer
I am writing to update you following the continued hot weather and the updated weather warnings announced today.
Firstly, I would like to praise our pupils for how sensibly they responded to the conditions in school today. They have done an excellent job of staying hydrated, making appropriate adjustments to their uniform, and following staff guidance throughout the day. The light breeze has also helped to keep most areas of the school well ventilated, which has supported a generally comfortable environment for learning.

What pupils should do next:
We will keep all these measures under review and will continue to update pupils, and parents and carers as needed throughout the week. Please note that similarly to other adverse weather conditions (such as snow) we may have to adjust our plans responsively. We will always do our best to provide as much notice as possible of any decisions we make.
