IMPORTANT TRAVEL UPDATE:

KINGS HEATH STATION WORKS

From Sunday 23 March for 7 weeks

Dear Parents/ Carers,

To help students and parents plan their journeys, please be aware of upcoming travel changes due to the Kings Heath Station development.

What’s Happening?

• Lane closures on Kings Heath High Street

• No vehicle access to Valentine Road from the High Street

• Temporary traffic lights at Queensbridge Road & Alcester Road (A435)

• Bus stops relocated (bus routes 1, 35 & 50 remain unchanged)

Travel Advice

• Plan Ahead – Journey times to and from school may be longer.

• Public Transports – Buses will run as usual but may be delayed.

• Alternative Routes – Avoid Kings Heath if possible. Use Bristol/Pershore Roads (South) or Stratford/Warwick Road (East)

• Walking & Cycling – If travelling locally, consider walking or cycling.
