Technology is moving at a fast pace and it can be difficult to know what your child is doing online, and how they are using their phones, laptops, computers and the internet. Therefore we have made this dedicated area for parents so they are aware of the potiential risks children face online.

internetmatters.org Keeping Children Safe Online: Information, Advice, Support. The ABC online safety checklist and other useful resources such as setting up devices safely, choosing age appropriate apps and tips on talking to young people about online safety.
The Internet Watch Foundation provides online safety advice and guidance for parents/carers and young people on a variety of topics including sextortion and how to prevent young people from being contacted in their own homes on the internet and asked for sexual pictures and videos.
